Casablanca, 18 May, 2022 - Attijariwafa bank has just won the “Digitalization of procurement 2022” award at the 1st edition of the Morocco Procurement Awards organized in Casablanca by the AMCA (Moroccan Association of the Procurement Community) and Logismed (International Transport and Logistics Exhibition for Africa and the Mediterranean).
This award recognizes the efforts of the Attijariwafa bank group’s Procurement Department in terms of digitalization, especially through the implementation of “Attijarisourcing”, an efficient digital platform to manage the Group’s procurement.
This solution offers several benefits such as the full dematerialization of the Procurement process, a 360° view of suppliers, a reduction in the time required to process tenders, the traceability of consultation documents, the improvement of supplier payment terms, as well as the digitization of the opening of bids.
Composed primarily of professionals and experts in Procurement and Business Management, the jury paid special attention to a number of criteria: the relevance and scope of the project, its originality and innovation aspect, the technologies used, the return on investment, the impact on the ecosystem, as well as the contribution to the company’s competitiveness and performance.
Youness TAGHRICHTE, Purchasing Director of the Attijariwafa bank group said: “We are very honored to receive this award, which reflects our Group’s vision and that of our reference shareholder AL MADA. Indeed, innovation and digitalization are strategic and flagship themes and a real driver of value creation for both the bank and its ecosystem”.
With this new award, Attijariwafa bank once again demonstrates its commitment and mobilization to add value to innovation processes and digital transformation projects.
